After a short delay, Mommy's Best Games latest title Explosionade is now available on the Xbox Live Indie Games channel.
Giving the demo a quick go (and running out of my 8 minutes), Explosionade seems to be the love child of Metal Slug and Bubble Bobble -- or what if Lode Runner had a useful weapon. There is a ton of cool ideas in here -- the destructibility of walls, the ability to bounce around using your shield, and the fact that enemies try and get out of the way of your shot, which doesn't happen a whole lot in side-scrollers like this.
